Installation

The FS1805M smoke detectors by ELRO come supplied with a magnetic assembly set. This set ensures that placing the smoke detectors is a piece of cake. The assembly set consists of 2 strong magnetic discs with high quality adhesive strips. You place one of the magnetic discs on the smoke detector and the other on the ceiling. Finally, you click the smoke detector with the magnetic disc to the ceiling.

We recommend placing at least one smoke detector on each floor of your home. Always place a smoke detector on the ceiling. The best places to place a detector are part of your escape route, for instance in the corridor, the landing and stairwell.

Maintenance

To ensure the optimal operation of the smoke detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean it once a month with the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents when cleaning detectors. Additionally, we recommend you to test the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button.

The ELRO FC4002 carbon monoxide detector ensures you are timely warned with the presence of the toxic carbon monoxide gas. This gas is odorless and invisible, so it cannot be detected without a device. Carbon monoxide is caused by incomplete combustion and can occur in your chimney, geyser or central heating boiler.

This detector from ELRO has a high quality electrochemical sensor, which constantly measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. If the concentration is too high, the detector produces a loud alarm of 85 dB. The ELRO FC4002 complies with the European standards EN50291-1: 2010 and EN50291-1A1: 2012. ELRO also provides a 5-year warranty on this detector.

Installation

The FC4002 carbon monoxide detector from ELRO is delivered with all the necessary fixing material. With this set you can easily attach the detector with screws to your ceiling.
